I have been happily married for 32 years, which contributes to my being an enthusiastic wedding officiant! We have a son, Kai, who is 19 years old. Other members of our family include Checkers the sweet dog and Anahat the feisty cat. We are fortunate to live in a peaceful place just outside of Grass Valley that has us close to nature and that feeds our souls.

I initially became a minister through my 15 years with the Ananda Church of Self-Realization. Now I am independent and nondenominational, honoring all beliefs, genders, and perspectives. I sometimes perform Sunday services at local churches, and my husband and I occasionally lead music at Unity in the Gold Country.

I serve as the Parenting Specialist for the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools.  I co-facilitate A Course of Love with Unity Church. Lastly, I co-run a podcast series called Aging Gracefully.

In other words, I do what I love and I love what I do. Among these, getting to know a couple and sharing the intimate, sacred initiation of marriage hold a very special place in my heart.
